Publishing a roster to your team

Create shifts, review, publish, and notify staff.

Steps

  1. Open Schedule. Pick the week with the date selector.
  2. Create shifts by clicking an empty cell, or drag an existing shift to copy it.
  3. Review the unpublished count in the toolbar β€” unpublished shifts don't notify staff.
  4. When you're ready, click Publish. Confirm the list of staff who'll get notified.
  5. Staff with notifications enabled receive an email (and SMS, if they've enabled the channel) listing their new shifts.

Tips

  • Use Copy from last week to seed a new week with the previous pattern.
  • Hold βŒ₯ (Alt) while dragging to duplicate a shift instead of moving it.
  • The 'Sync to Calendar' button on a published shift adds it to a staff member's Google/Apple Calendar via the per-staff CalDAV feed.
