What changed

The horizontal two-tier menu has been replaced with a vertical sidebar on the left. Same nav structure, sharper visual language, and you can collapse it to a 64-pixel icon-only rail when you need more horizontal space.

Anatomy

• Logo + collapse toggle at the top — toggle is remembered between sessions.
• Search bar with ⌘K — opens the global command palette (when available).
• Main section — your primary navigation. Sections with children (People, Time, Payroll…) expand inline. The currently-active section auto-expands.
• Workspace section — Notifications, What's new, Send feedback, Help Centre, Settings.
• Account card at the bottom — click to open Manage account / Sign out.

Mobile

On phones the sidebar becomes a slide-in drawer triggered by the burger icon in the top bar. The same nav tree is preserved.
